My name is Joel Winterflood, a singer/songwriter/musician from South East England. My vocal style stems from many roots throughout my life, starting from genres of; pop, soul, folk and acoustic.

I write lyrics that truly mean something and should never come across as surface level; because of this, my vocal delivery steers into grit and passion, forcing subtle vocal rasp and cracks to give depth behind the tone.

My vocal inspirations mainly come from: Dermot Kennedy, Jamie Cullum and James Arthur.

I began singing in church in 2017 and gained confidence through posting covers onto YouTube as well as busking. I then studied Commercial Songwriting and Music Production for my Master’s Degree in 2019/2020 and began gaining more and more opportunities to perform live for various acoustic sessions as well as regularly record within professional studios.
