Born in 2000, it wasn’t long before young Austin Newby took a clear liking to music. It was only fourteen years later that Austin began producing and emerged on the other side as the artist now known as Pixlr. Inspired by deadmau5 and his general love for both techno and house, he began to consider the possible future of his passion for producing. 

Liking what he was both seeing and hearing here at SYNC Records he decided it was time he joined us and we’ve been so happy to have him. As he only continues to grow as an artist, he approaches his next step–doing live shows. 

The future of both Pixlr and SYNC Records is looking far from pixelated. It’s clear as can be.
