Dubstep producer Swyse is no stranger to the art of music. Having almost 10 years under his belt, he is always looking for new ways to take his craft to the next level. Taking inspiration from the the artist Instrumental Core, his passion for music solidified in 2016. "I met another musician that pushed me to become better and I realized that there's way more challenge to overcome in producing than just playing the right notes at the right time," Swyse recalls.

While he never pursued music in college, the enjoyment of music had a very positive impact on Swyse's life, as well as his career. "When I had to choose colleges, I hesitated between CS [computer science] and music," he shares. His reasoning for not studying music in college was that studying the course would cause his disinterest in the subject. "If there's one thing I don't want to hate, it's music."

SYNC Records was the first suggestion that came Swyse's way, and his first demo submission, "Black Hole", had many positive reviews by a group of friendly staff members and artists. "Even though my introvert personality makes me be less active, whenever I was involved in the community, I found that they were very mature and kind," he explains. 

His appreciation of SYNC's widespread positive role models with a vibrant and peaceful community was a big part of Swyse's joining the roster.
